Welcome to our immersive tour of the historic Normandy landing sites, where the decisive events of World War II unfolded.
Day 1
Journey to Normandy & Bayeux
- Canadian WW2 cemetery at Leubringhen, Pas de Calais where 704 casualties are buried.
- D-Day Museum, Bayeux.
- Bayeux Cemetery which is the final resting place for 4256 soldiers, sailors and airmen.
- Walking tour of Bayeux city
Day 2
Utah and Surroundings
- Saint Mere Eglise, where John Steel’s parachute got caught on the church steeple.
- La Fiere Bridge and “The bowling alley,” where the 82nd Airborne fought off a German Panzer attack,
- Brecourt Manor where Easy Company “Band of Brothers” knocked out a German artillery unit who were firing on Utah beach,
Utah beach. - Pointe du Hoc where we learn of mistakes made and the Rangers bravery in scaling the cliffs.
- General Falley’s chateau at Picauville. Falley was the first general to be killed on D–Day.
Day 3
Omaha, Mulberry, Juno, Sword & Royal Ulster Rifles
- German Cemetery La Cambes
- Omaha Beach
- Colleville US Military cemetery Omaha Beach
- Longues sur Mer, German gun battery
- Mulberry Harbour at Arromanches
- Juno Beaach & the Canadians
- Lion Sur Mer and Queen Red Beach Sword where the 2nd Royal Ulster Rifles
- Cambes en Plaine on D-Day +3
- Memorial to 2nd Royal Ulster Rifles and the military cemetery at Cambes
Day 4
Airbourne and home
- Benouville Bridge better known as Pegasus Bridge
- Pegasus Bridge Museum
- Ranville military cemetery and Ranville churchyard where many members of the airbourne 1 st Royal Ulster Rifles are buried.
- Return via Cabourg Berneville sur Mer and Deauville – following the route of 1st Royal Ulster Rifles.
