- Etaples military Cemetery, designed by Edwin Lutyens. It is the Largest CWG cemetery in France.
- Picnic lunch
- Montreuil Sur Mer. Field Marshal Haig’s base in 1916
- Travel to farmhouse
- Evening meal
Day 2
The Somme
- Apostles’ Wood Accrington and Barnsley Pals’ memorials
- Serre Road 2 cemetery and Hebuterne French cemetery
- The sunken road Beaumont
- Beaumont Hamel
- Courcelette Canadian memorial
- Pozieres Tank memorial
- Delville Wood
- Guillemont Road cemetery
- Mametz Wood
- Devonshire cemetery
- Return to accommodation for evening meal
Day 3
The Somme 1st July 1916
- Wavans Cemetery, location of Mc Cudden’s grave
- Doullens Hotel de Ville. The site of the 1918 hand over of power to Foch.
- Louvencourt CWG cemetery
- La Sucerie Cemetery James Pearse Morum’s grave.
- Fonquevillers
- Gommecourt
- Owl Trench
- Butte de Warlencourt
- Villers Bretonneux
- Adelaide Cemetery
- Return to accommodation for evening meal
Day 4
The Somme
- Albert
- Albert Trench Museum
- Lochnagar Crater
- Pozieres Picnic lunch
- Return to the UK
